Culinary journey to Indonesia with chef Degan Septoadji

Le Cordon Bleu Paris celebrates Indonesian culinary culture

Le Cordon Bleu Paris will welcome chef Degan Septoadji from Bali, on September 19th at 4pm for a culinary journey to Indonesia.

At the end of 2010, after several experiences abroad and the desire to create something special, close to home, Degan Septoadji, better known as chef Degan, returned to Bali. His passion for Indonesian cuisine, combined with the techniques learnt in western countries, enabled him to develop dishes selected from different countries using a wide range of flavours and ingredients. This led him to open Café Degan in Bali and his contribution to Indonesian gastronomy.

Here are the dishes which will be presented :

Kare Ayam ( chicken in yellow curry), Soto Ayam ( chicken soup, turmeric, ginger, fried shallot), Ayam Panggang ( Roasted turmeric spiced chicken), Bumbu Kuning ( Yellow spice paste).
