The companies who have put their trust in our students
With over 130 years of experience in education, Le Cordon Bleu offers the finest training in culinary arts and hospitality. In a rapidly growing tourism sector, we place particular emphasis on mastering technical skills, equipping our students with the confidence and expertise required for their careers. Le Cordon Bleu diplomas, recognised internationally, open up numerous professional opportunities in fields such as gastronomy, hospitality, journalism, consultancy, and education.
In addition to the teaching provided at the Institute, one or more internships are included in the professional programmes. These enable students to explore the sector of their choice: prestigious establishments, fine-dining restaurants, innovative culinary concepts, Michelin-starred venues, luxury hotels, or renowned pâtisseries.
These internship periods offer students a tangible opportunity to develop their skills, apply the knowledge acquired, understand the workings of a professional environment, and gain meaningful experience.
In order to validate their professional pathway and obtain their certificate of achievement, students must complete an internship of at least four months, which may extend to six months, either in France or abroad, depending on the programme. The Careers and Industry Partnerships department supports each student throughout the entire process.
These internships form part of a true educational approach, built in partnership with host organisations. The Institute’s teams ensure that each mentor conveys the core values of the profession and fully supports the interns in their professional development.
The internships enable students to develop their skills in the field and to put what they have learnt in class into practice, to understand how a company works and to gain experience, etc.
