              The winner of this year’s Scholarship Award, will be given the opportunity to study some of the most prestigious Le Cordon Bleu’s culinary diplomas: Diplôme de Pâtisserie and Diploma in Culinary Management.

              Le Cordon Bleu’s highly acclaimed Diplôme de Pâtisserie offers the most rigorous and comprehensive programme in classic French pastry techniques available today. Students who successfully complete our pastry qualification will learn all of the professional techniques required to progress with a range of exciting career opportunities. You will be taught by our team of classically trained Chefs who have experience working in senior positions in the world’s finest pastry shops and Michelin starred restaurants.

              Following 9 month of intense training, the winner will then commence another 3 month journey studying advanced and modernist culinary techniques.

              The Diploma in Culinary Management has been designed to provide aspiring managers and business owners with the relevant skill set to lead successful kitchens and food businesses in an increasingly competitive world. The focus of the programme is to provide practical and technical advanced culinary skills, alongside entrepreneurship and management studies. Taught through demonstrations and practical sessions, students will develop their creativity and innovation in line with modern food trends.

              By the end of the 12 months, the winner will have been provided classical and advanced culinary techniques alongside management studies. The winner will be equipped with the skills to work in the hospitality and restaurant industries across the world and to achieve their professional dream.

              The 2016 Scholarship Award, a grant that offers an aspiring chef the opportunity to study in our London flagship school. The lucky winner will be awarded the coveted Diplôme de Pâtisserie followed by a 3 month Diploma in Culinary Management. The Scholarship also includes accommodation in central London courtesy of our partner Urbanest and an internship under the guidance of Michelin-starred Chef Clare Smyth MBE.
