At Le Cordon Bleu London we offer scholarship opportunities to help students with the costs of studying at our school. If studying culinary arts, wine or management has always been a dream, our yearly scholarship could be just the way to achieve it.
For over 130 years Le Cordon Bleu has helped shape the careers of some of the best chefs and food enthusiasts around the world. Regularly offering scholarship competitions each year, 2026 will focus on Le Cordon Bleu’s Intensive Diplôme de Pâtisserie and the Diploma in Pâtisserie Innovation.
The prize will also include an internship at CORD by Le Cordon Bleu restaurant and some incredible prizes, including mentoring from Michel Roux and Chris Galvin, Dinner at the 3 Michelin-starred Sketch Lecture Room and 12 months accommodation from Londonist.
The Julia Child Scholarship by Le Cordon Bleu offered a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who may have thought a career in food would only ever be a dream.
The Julia Child Scholarship last took place in 2019.
The winner was awarded a place on both our highly respected Diplôme de Pâtisserie and our Diploma in Culinary Management. Combined, the 12 month course comprises two diplomas studied one after the other to form our Diplôme de Pâtisserie with Culinary Management. Awarding the winner with their prize was one of the true greats of the industry; esteemed chef, TV personality and Le Cordon Bleu alumna Mary Berry.
Throughout the tuition, the winner also met some of our most successful London-based alumni for one-to-one mentoring sessions, including author Luiz Hara, restaurateur Dhruv Mittal, Georgia Green of Georgia's Cakes and Evelina Ogorzalek of Evelina's Patisserie.
During the 12 month course, the winner also carried out work experience at the iconic luxury London hotel, The Savoy, offering a truly incredible first-hand insight into the operations of a high-end restaurant kitchen. Additionally, Churchill tableware provided prizes for the winner and the runners up, and ZWILLING provided a set of Diploma knives for 2nd & 3rd place.
Also included in this outstanding prize, was luxury accommodation courtesy of Londonist, which the successful candidate has for 12 months.
