Rivers of Wine

London

Rivers have been instrumental in shaping the most famous historic wine regions of Europe. Forging scenic vineyard landscapes, cutting valleys or deposing layers afters layers of gravel and eventually helping to transport the wines to the courts of Europe and beyond.

Travelling 7 rivers, and sampling 8 wines, join Matthieu Longuère MS on a tour of these historic wine regions and discover how these mighty waterways have helped shape winemaking in Europe.

During this class you will be enjoying a sparkling wine, 3 white, 3 red and a dessert wine.

Lead by Master Sommelier Matthieu Longuere, this 2 hour evening class will guide you through sensory evaluation skills as you compare the styles of wines originating from valleys and slopes beside rivers around Europe.
