Our Mastering Macaroons baking course is now available with a Christmas twist, teaching the mastery of festive-themed macaroon recipes and fundamental techniques.
Our Pâtisserie Chefs will teach you how to produce the four main types of macaroon, leading you through the crucial stages of the macaroon making process including:
- French and Italian meringue production
- Macaronage colour application
- Christmas filling varieties
- Piping decorations
The recipes taught include spiced chocolate ganache, brandy butter cream, and mandarin conserve for a festive take on the classic macaroon.
At the end of the class, you will learn how to package your creations in beautiful presentation boxes ready for presenting as a gift.
Included in the price:
A six-hour group practical lesson (inclusive of a 30 minute break), all ingredients, a recipe booklet, an apron and tea towel. After completing this cookery course, you will leave with all items created during the day along with a mastery of macaroon techniques. No prior knowledge is required for this course and it is suitable for both novices and cooks with some experience.
