At Le Cordon Bleu London, we offer a 3 month diploma based on gastronomy, the principles of nutrition and culinary arts. The programme focuses on introducing practical culinary skills for healthy cooking, gastronomy lectures and seminars, science of food and sustainability in the context of the current health and wellness industry.
Students will undertake practical culinary classes (60 hours), introductory nutrition theory, gastronomy seminars, tastings and excursions. Through the study of nutrition and culinary arts discover how the intake of food can have a profound impact on health and well-being. Alongside this students learn key skills in kitchen organisation, food safety, business aspects of the food industry
To complete the programme students will undertake written assignments which involves weekly culinary practical assessment, recipe writing and costing, nutrition analysis and research, packaging, branding and social media in the health food industry along with gastronomy research projects.
