John is an alumnus of Le Cordon Bleu and co-founder of Michelin-starred AngloThai, a restaurant serving food inspired by his dual Thai-British heritage. AngloThai predominantly serve dishes that are inspired by Thailand but using as much local British seasonal produce as possible.
John trained at Le Cordon Bleu Dusit in Bangkok, then going on to work at Nahm under David Thompson, rated the best restaurant in Asia at the time. After years of pop-ups and residencies across around the world, he opened his restaurant in 2024 and earned a Michelin star just three months after opening.
