Cheese & Beer Pairing Masterclass


You may know about cheese and wine pairing, but many overlook the fantastic pairing opportunities available with other beverages such as beer. This course explores the relationship between several different types of cheese and how they can be matched with a variety of different beers, such as lagers, ales and stouts.

In pairing 6 cheeses and 6 beers you'll discover the various interactions available, and what influence the taste of the beer has on the taste of the cheese, and vice versa.

Cheeses sampled include: a lactic cheese, a bloom rind cheese, a washed rind cheese, a half-pressed cheese, a fully pressed cheese and a blue cheese.

The cheeses are paired with a wheat beer, a pale ale, an amber ale, a bottle conditioned ale, a Belgian tripple abbaye beer and a stout.
