This page is a guide to help you in the Admission Process.  You can apply for a study programme by choosing one of the cities: Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo.

Admission Requirements

  • Age
    The applicant must be 18 years old or above. Above this, there is no age limit. Children who wants to apply for the Les Petits Cordons Bleus Short Term Courses, must be between 10 to 13 years old.
  • Education
    The mininum academic requirement to apply for a Le Cordon Bleu Brazilian Certificate or Diploma is a High School Diploma. No prior culinary experience is required.
  • Documents Required

    Before applying to Le Cordon Bleu Brazil, you will need to prepare the list of documents below:

    • A copy of the identity page of your current passport
    • CPF copy (only for Brazilian citizens)
    • A copy of your of Brazilian Visa (if applicable). Learn more about Brazilian Visa.
    • One color photo size and passport format (5x7cm)
    • Proof of residence copy
    • Official High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Updated resume
    • The admission form completed and signed. Application Form Rio de Janeiro | Application Form São Paulo
    • Evidence of prior learning (if requested by Le Cordon Bleu) including details of previous Le Cordon Bleu courses attended, together with a copy of any Diploma or Certificate awarded.
    • A non-refundable application fee: R$ 1.500,00 (Cuisine and Pâtisserie Certificates, Cuisine/Pâtisserie Diplomas and Grand Diplôme); R$ 150,00 (Diploma Cordontec - Rio de Janeiro).
    • A statement of motivation*, explaining the applicant's culinary goals, career aspirations and reasons for choosing Le Cordon Bleu and the particular course (300-500 words).* The statement of motivation must be written in Portuguese or in English by the applicant.
  • International Students

    To study in Brazil, it is necessary to present the Temporary Visa IV. The document is valid for one year, and can be extended to the completion of the course and does not allow the student to maintain employment in Brazil. Learn more about how to receive your visa

  • Apply online
