Sunway Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia is an Accredited Training Provider recognised by the Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran – JPK), Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia, to deliver the Malaysian Skills Certificate (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia – SKM) Level 3, a nationally recognised Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) qualification.

The programme is delivered in accordance with the requirements of the Code of Practice for TVET Programme Accreditation (COPTPA) and adopts the Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) approach. These are integrated with Le Cordon Bleu's internationally recognised culinary education model, providing students with both industry-recognised Malaysian vocational certification and world-class culinary training.

Comprising 2,400 learning hours and 60 credits, the programme combines Le Cordon Bleu's practical kitchen training, culinary demonstrations, and hands-on learning with the competency-based components required under the SKM framework. These include theoretical modules, workplace and employability skills, competency assessments, professional development activities, and a compulsory three (3) month of industrial training placement.

By combining the structured competency requirements of the Malaysian TVET system with Le Cordon Bleu's internationally renowned culinary curriculum, students graduate with both strong practical culinary capabilities and nationally recognised vocational competencies that enhance their employability within Malaysia and internationally.
