Wearing of facemasks will be COMPULSORY when you are INDOORS. While the government has allowed for face masks to be off outdoors, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE our community to continue to wear their face masks for their own safety. This is especially so if you are in the high-risk category (with co-morbidities, not fully vaccinated/ unvaccinated etc.) and/or in crowded places.
All symptomatic (coughing, sore throat, flu, etc) persons must self-test negative for COVID-19 before being allowed on campus and masks must be worn at all times while on campus as long as symptoms persist.
MYSEJAHTERA
Please ensure that your MySejahtera Trace is activated. MOHE (Minstry of Higher Education) requires this to be done to facilitate with contact tracing in the event infections occur.
MySejahtera Check-ins are no longer mandatory. However, you must show your MySejahtera status to the security personnel at the entry points. Individuals with ‘High Risk’ status on MySejahtera or those under Home Surveillance Order (HSO) are prohibited from entering campus.
POSITIVE CASES
Individuals who are COVID-19 positive must quarantine for 7 days.
Quarantine may be ended earlier, subject to the following:
Testing negative on a supervised RTK-Ag COVID-19 from Days 4, 5 or 6.
The RTK-Ag test must be supervised by a registered healthcare professional, who will upload your result onto MySejahtera. You may end quarantine once your MySejahtera status is updated to show that you are no longer positive.
If you test positive, you must continue your quarantine until Day 7 and will be able to end your quarantine once your MySejahtera risk status is updated.
If you choose not to test at all, you must quarantine until Day 7 and will be able to end your quarantine once your MySejahtera risk status is updated.
CLOSE CONTACTS
Asymptomatic individuals (i.e. not exhibiting symptoms such as fever, flu, sore throat or loss of smell/taste) are not required to quarantine but must take an RTK-Ag test on Days 1 and 3 as a precautionary measure.
Symptomatic individuals (i.e. experiencing symptoms such as fever, flu, sore throat or loss of smell/taste) to self-quarantine for at least 3 days and to take an RTK-Ag test on Day 1 (onset of the symptoms) and Day 3 (or 2 days after onset of symptoms). If the RTK-Ag test is negative on Day 3, you can return to campus.
Observe Preventative Measures: All close contacts are encouraged to strictly observe preventative measure for at least 5 days from the date of exposure to the positive case.
