Le Cordon Bleu London are delighted to announce that they will be holding a Summer Festival this year at the institute in Bloomsbury.

The Le Cordon Bleu London Summer Festival will take place on Saturday 2nd July 2022 and will feature a variety of activities including culinary demonstrations, exciting workshops, wine & drinks tastings and the opportunity to discover some gourmet products.

Alongside workshops and demonstrations from Le Cordon Bleu London’s own master teaching chefs, the Summer Festival will include some fantastic guest chef demonstrations. See how some of London’s top chefs prepare some of their incredible dishes, including Chef Patron of Galvin Restaurants Chris Galvin, Group Development & Training Chef at Cinnamon Collection Rakesh Nair, Chef Patron of Dinings SW3 Masaki Sugisaki, Executive Chef at Louie Slade Rushing and CORD by Le Cordon Bleu Pastry Chef David Oliver. Demonstrations are open to all guests at the Summer Festival.

There is also a very special demonstration by the European Pastry Cup winning Team GB, featuring one of their award winning creations. The team includes Le Cordon Bleu London's very own Deputy Head of Pâtisserie, Chef Nicolas Houchet, alongside Michael Ho Lam Kwan, Executive Pastry Chef at The Dorchester, and is lead by Denis Dramé MCA, Pastry Chef for TheTasteLab by Classic Fine Foods.

Throughout the day, guests will have the opportunity to take part in a fantastic variety of hands on workshops. Le Cordon Bleu master chefs will be teaching everything from classic French techniques in cuisine, pâtisserie and boulangerie to innovative sessions in plant-based cuisine and nutrition. There will be some fantastic wine workshops going on too, where Le Cordon Bleu London’s Wine Development Manager, Matthieu Longuere MS, will guide guests through these fascinating tasting sessions.

In between workshops, guests can spend time at the Classic Deli Food Tasting Area to sample and purchase some fantastic delicatessen products, take part in mini competitions and find out more about the institute.
