Winter Wine and Cheese – High-Altitude Terroirs

Paris - Hôtel de la Marine

This winter, embark on a spectacular journey through the French mountains, from the Jura to the Pyrenees via the Massif Central, and discover regions shaped by altitude, exceptional pastures and time-honoured expertise.

Throughout this tasting, we will explore how the mountain climate, high-altitude meadows and local traditions give rise to distinctive cheeses, brought to life by wines from their own or neighbouring terroirs.

Mont d’Or, Ossau Iraty and Bleu de Causses: Five iconic pairings, along with anecdotes about designations, cheese-making methods and the secrets of mountain wines. A relaxed tasting session that will take you on a journey from valley to valley to discover authentic and comforting flavours, perfect for the winter season.

*The selection of wines and cheeses is subject to change depending on availability, whilst ensuring that the educational focus of the tasting is maintained. The cheeses, carefully selected from our cheesemonger, may also vary depending on availability and new arrivals, in order to maintain the quality and harmony of the pairings on offer.
