Le Cordon Bleu Paris is set to attend the first-ever PâtissArt Fair
Le Cordon Bleu Paris is proud to announce it will be taking part in the first-ever PâtissArt Fair, which will be hosted by the city of Deauville from October ...
6 June 2016, Paris - Le Cordon Bleu, the leading Global Network of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institutes, opens the doors of its new campus to all who are passionate about gastronomy, with a wide range of culinary workshops, and wine and spirits initiation classes.
From seasonal cuisine, to freshly baked pastries, not forgetting macaroons and éclairs, each participant makes the recipe from preparation through to presentation. The variety of amateur lessons available at Le Cordon Bleu, from 22 June in Paris’s 15th district, aims to please as many individuals as possible.
Cuisine, pastry and bread making workshops, lasting between 3 to 6 hours and 1 to 4 days, take place in practical classrooms or demonstration rooms and enable participants to get a real taste of life in a professional kitchen. The gourmet classes are taught by the Institute’s team of instructors. This team includes Chefs who have worked in prestigious establishments, such as luxury hotels around the globe and Michelin-starred restaurants, or who have been awarded the title One of the Best Craftsmen in France (Meilleur Ouvrier de France - MOF).
Programmes dedicated to the younger generation are also available with Les Petits Cordons Bleus, for children between 8 and 12 years of age. During a cuisine or pastry workshop, supervised by a Le Cordon Bleu Chef, children are encouraged to develop their creativity. Workshops entitled Futures Chefs also exist for those aged between 13 and 17.
The Wine and Spirits Initiation programme is made up of three wine modules. During evening classes, participants are taught the fundamentals, enabling them to better analyse, understand and appreciate the differences, qualities and characteristics of wines.
Taught in French and English, Le Cordon Bleu lessons are for individuals and groups of amateurs or professionals. The Institute’s new campus overlooks the Seine and sits alongside the Beaugrenelle shopping centre.
