Join our French Patisserie Chef, Thomas Holleaux for a 3-hour Macaron Masterclass where you will learn how to make the perfect macaron. The ever so delicate and popular macarons are typically prepared using ground almonds, making them gluten free and vegetarian. The macaron involves a series of sophisticated techniques that take time and practice to perfect. During this masterclass Chef Thomas will provide you with simple step-by-step instructions, while demonstrating the following techniques:
macaron shells (with both French and Italian meringue)
various fillings (ganache fillings and a jam filling)
piping and assembly
During the demonstration, you are free to ask questions, take videos and taste-test all the delectable treats. You will take home a macaron recipe booklet, so you can apply the skills you’ve acquired at home.
