Course Details: Cool down this summer with creamy delicious homemade ice cream! Join us for an Ice Cream Master Class where Chef de Patisserie, Thomas will demonstrate to you the science of ice cream making.
Understanding these fundamental techniques could mean the difference between a coarse-and-crispy frozen disaster and the smooth, creamy textures they serve at gourmet restaurants.The course will cover various flavours of ice cream, toppings and a special ice cream dessert.
NOTE: As this is a masterclass demonstration you will not need to bring any equipment, however in order to execute these recipes learned in class at home, you will require an ice cream maker. They can be purchased from appliance stores such as Noel Leeming, Briscoes and Moore Wilsons. The cost of an ice cream maker varies between $100 - $500 depending on the size and quality.
