What is the Promising Chefs in Haute Cuisine Competition?

Le Cordon Bleu Madrid’s Promising Chefs in Haute Cuisine Competition seeks to recognize academic achievement and nurture the talent of future chefs currently training at culinary schools throughout Spain.

Competition objectives:

Gastronomy is part of Spain’s cultural heritage and, undoubtedly, a key pillar of our economy and development alongside tourism. For this reason, Le Cordon Bleu Madrid aims to:

  • Support and encourage the education of future generations of chefs
  • Reward the talent of students in training
  • Promote ongoing training for haute cuisine professionals throughout their careers
  • Foster students’ commitment to their own education
  • Promote the creation of networks of culinary students throughout Spain

What is the prize? What does the winner receive?

The final round will determine the winner of the Promising Chefs in Haute Cuisine Competition and the runner-up. Both will receive a scholarship to study at Le Cordon Bleu Madrid.

    • First prize:
      • 100% scholarship to study a Diploma (worth more than €24,000)
      • €1,500 scholarship for the educational institution. This will only be awarded if the winner has submitted their application through the institution.
    • Second prize:
