Le Cordon Bleu London has some exciting events coming up this autumn. We’ve teamed up with some fantastic partners to bring you these demonstrations featuring experts from the hospitality industry.
On Thursday 13th October we’re hosting a Cocktail Evening with Cognac Frapin & Nazani Tea Infusions. Cognac Frapin is a single-family estate based in the Grand Champagne region, where they harvest, distil and age their award-winning fine cognacs. Nazani Tea creates herbal infusions and tisanes based on the principles of luxury, integrity, and elegance, sourcing products sustainably from all over the world, looking at ancient traditions with a modern approach.
The event will be hosted by Phil Duffy, BNIC (Bureau National Interprofessionel du Cognac) Educator, and Arleen Ouzounian, founder of Nazani Tea. The event will feature a demonstration of how these two terroir driven luxury products can blend together to create cocktails that are unique, out of the ordinary, and quite simply delicious.
On Thursday 20th October 2022, you can join us for Perfect Pairings - The Art and Science Behind Wine, an evening of wine pairing in partnership with Yhangry and hosted by sommelier Isabelle Lynch. Isabelle was trained by the head sommelier from Core by Clare Smyth, the 3-star Michelin restaurant, and has gained WSET Level 3, receiving distinctions in her tastings.
Isabelle’s impressive career includes sommelier roles in fine dining restaurants, as a freelance sommelier and head of wine at The Wine List. She is now part of Yhangry's rapidly growing team, consulting hundreds of clients on their wine pairings for over 500 chefs, and teaching Yhangry's chefs about wine, giving them the knowledge to elevate their own dinner parties and create an entire restaurant in their client’s homes.
