David Seymour, Leader of the Act party visits Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand

David Seymour, Leader of the ACT party visited Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand on Wednesday 28 September accompanied by James McDowell ACT List MP Waikato.

David and his party was greeted by Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand General Manager, Jenny Jenkins and gave them  a tour of the campus. They met with culinary and administration staff and Simran Ahluwalia, a third year Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business student and Student Council representative.

Simran Ahluwalia, shares the alumni success stories to David and James McDowell.

During this campus visit, information was shared regarding the present Immigration settings for New Zealand as well as suggested improvements for the future. Jenny Jenkins, shared some of the post covid business challenges due to the border closures and shared the many student success stories from the past 10 years of operation.

David Seymour expressed an avid interest in the culinary arts and we hope to see him attend a Short Course in the future. He said we had given him renewed hope in his ability to be able to cook.
