The Institute of Culinary Arts Le Cordon Bleu Rio de Janeiro prepares to open in August, bringing the excellence and tradition of the teaching of the international curriculum of the institute. And for the Rio de Janeiro campus in particular, it was developed the Diplôme CordonTec. Applications are available on the institute's website.
With a duration of one year, the Diplôme CordonTec offers a range of knowledge and skills through the application of basic techniques of French cuisine. This method, combined with discipline, intensive training, and individual commitment, is a key success factor for developing trained professionals who can confidently pursue a culinary career advancement and become chefs.
Students enroled in this course will be qualified in Cuisine, Pâtisserie, Boulangerie, and Service. For this last qualification in particular, students will have an internship program in "Restaurant Application", which will offer practical experience in this segment, enabling greater opportunities in the labor market and empirical understanding for the accelerated development of the career or for a greater level of study within the Le Cordon Bleu worldwide training network.
The course is held for five days a week and is divided into practical, demonstrative and theoretical classes, as well as assessments and the internship program. In kitchens, students will work individually in an interactive learning environment guided by experienced chefs in the Culinary Arts.
