Le Cordon Bleu Logo

Brisbane is Queensland’s capital with a population of more than two million people. Almost 80,000 international students live there, attracted by excellent study options, world-class lifestyle, sub-tropical climate, work opportunities and relatively low cost of living.

Le Cordon Bleu Brisbane is perfectly located at South Bank which is Brisbane’s premier lifestyle and cultural hub. Situated in the vibrant TAFE Queensland education precinct, the campus offers easy access to the city centre, with Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast just an hour’s drive away.

South Bank is home to year-round arts festivals and events, Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, Queensland Museum and Sciencentre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Queensland Maritime Museum, Queensland Conservatorium, Queensland State Library, and Queensland Theatre Company.

Cost of Living

Compared to other major Australian capital cities, Brisbane has a relatively low cost of living.

Transport

Brisbane has a modern integrated bus and rail network, with South Bank bus and rail stations conveniently located adjacent to the campus. A network of electric trains in Greater Brisbane provide easy access to CBD, neighbourhood precincts and outer suburbs. There are free buses circling the inner city, and a free CityHopper ferry service from North Quay to Sydney Street, New Farm.

Purchasing a TransLink Go Card will allow you travel on TransLink bus, ferry and rail services across south-east Queensland. For public transport enquiries, contact Translink on 13 12 30 or visit their website.

Brisbane Domestic and International Airports are located approximately 18km from the campus and provide direct access to regional, Australian and international destinations.
