Le Cordon Bleu Dusit at Thailand Bakery Festival 2019

Le Cordon Bleu Dusit was pleased to have been invited to participate in Thailand Bakery Festival 2019 to provide information about our programme and special culinary demonstrations by our expert chefs. This event was organized by Maeban magazine to introduce their first Bakery event in Thailand between 23 – 25 August 2019 at Central World.

In this event, Le Cordon Bleu Dusit met with much interest from the public both in learning more about our programs and workshops, as well as subsidizing our fundraising products and contributing towards our Charity Fundraising efforts. Visitors also very much enjoyed tasting our bakery and pastry items especially prepared by our very own Le Cordon Bleu Dusit chefs and team.

One of the highlights of this event was the special French pastry and bakery live demonstrations by Chef Frederic Legras, our Pastry Chef Instructor and Chef Jean-Philippe Landry, our Bakery Chef Instructor. On stage, Chef Frederic impressed the crowd with his clear and insightful instructions on the making Raspberry Fruit Jelly and Honey Caramel Jelly, as well as tips on the cooking techniques. Chef Jean-Philippe Landry performed his special bread baking techniques of how to roll croissant and shaping baguette. The audience especially loved the tasting at the end of the sessions.
