Special Demonstration by Chef Alejandro Cuéllar Suárez

Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School was honored to welcome Chef Alejandro Cuéllar Suárez, a renowned Colombian Chef, to conduct a very special cooking demonstration on a traditional cooking practices of Colombia. This special demonstration was held on the occasion of 40th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Thailand and Colombia on 31 October 2019.

The Embassy of the Republic of Colombia to the Kingdom of Thailand was pleased to be bringing to Bangkok, Chef Alejandro Cuéllar Suárez, renowned Colombian Chef, to provide culinary demonstrations to both Thai and International students on traditional cooking practices of Colombia.

The demonstration was very well attended by our current students and our alumni. In this special event, the participants enjoyed a cooking demonstration and food tasting afterwards with tasty dishes such as: “Chorriadas” potatoes, “A Caballo” Beef loin tar tar and “Encocado” shrimp.


Chef Alejandro Cuéllar Suárez is known for his avant-garde trends with elements of Colombian traditions and indigenous flavors. In addition, his work centers in creating preparations, with innovative culinary techniques.
