The Goût de France / Good France Promotion was carried out via French Embassies around the world to celebrate French gastronomy – globally - on March 19, 2015. Over 1,500 French chefs on all five continents joined the event producing fine examples of innovative French cuisine.

The Goût de / Good France initiative is organized by Alain Ducasse and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the Government of France.

In each participating restaurant, chefs will offer a ‘French-style’ menu in their restaurant with a traditional French apéritif, a cold starter, a hot starter, fish or shellfish, meat or poultry, a French cheese, a chocolate dessert, French wines and digestifs, and feel free to highlight their own culinary traditional and cultures.

The cuisine will be accessible to everyone, from bistro through to exceptional restaurants, and based on fresh, seasonal and local products with lower levels of fat, sugar, salt and protein.

In Bangkok, there are world famous restaurants such as; Le Normandie, with Chef Arnaud Dunand Sauthier from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the Red Sky from Centara Grand Central World with Chef Hugo Coudurier who participated in this event.
