Son Sewoo a culinary star has built a successful career as a chef and hospitality manager working around the world in various establishments. Son is now the General Manager and Head Chef at popular General Chao restaurant in Sydney.
The Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Alumnus used his passion for the industry to overcome the adversity of the pandemic by going to an online business model and offering take away options during lockdown.
Sonia Manoj Patil, Alumna of Le Cordon Bleu Melbourne has achieved many of her dreams. The proud chef completed her Work Integrated Learning placement at Attica in Melbourne. Sonia is now working at Enter Via Laundry and had the absolute pleasure of cooking for Matt Preston. Plus, Sonia has cooked for the executive producers, directors and new judges, Jock, Melissa and Andy of Masterchef Australia.
Graham Cochran, Le Cordon Bleu Adelaide Alumnus, has stepped into the coveted role of Chef de Partie at the award-winning Magill Estate Restaurant. Graham impressed the owners so much during his Work Integrated Learning Placement that they offered him a permanent position upon completion. Graham is happy to be back at work after Covid-19 restrictions lifted and has now realised there many different areas besides cooking that a Chef can get in to.
Le Cordon Bleu Brisbane student Aurora Hsu achieved her dream of working in France. Aurora completed her 6-month Work Integrated Learning placement at luxury hotel Intercontinental Paris! Her next dream? She has set her sights on owning her own patisserie in Paris.
