Le Cordon Bleu London is pleased to announce the launch of this year’s Kimchi Cook Off competition in partnership with Association Mes Amis (AMA) and global ...
In addition to impressing the judges with her knowledge and skill in any type of preparation, Chef Luciana stood out from the competition thanks to her ability to turn humble, everyday ingredients into dishes worthy of a fine dining restaurant.
Originally from Salvador, Bahia, Brasil, Chef Luciana graduated from Le Cordon Bleu London 2014 with a Diplôme de Cuisine, following which she went on to take part in Masterchef: The Professionals, where she made it to the semi-finals. Luciana went on to start her own London-based catering company and, as a passionate advocate for her native cuisine, gives Brazilian cooking lessons.
What helped me to win it, were the techniques I learnt at Le Cordon Bleu which I implemented into humble ingredients, turning them into high gastronomy. My victory was not only mine; it was a victory for Brazilian ingredients and gastronomy.
A public speaker, Luciana has hosted countless demonstrations at public events and food festivals, as well as many private and corporate events.
As the winner, Luciana takes home R $ 300,000 (approximately £40,000) in addition to enjoying the title of Brasil’s Top Chef.
