A Tasteful Story

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a chef, opening your own restaurant, your own business in the culinary industry, and making your passion for gastronomy your profession? In the podcast "A Tasteful Story" from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, we invite you to discover testimonials from eight of its former students. They have trained in cuisine, pâtisserie, boulangerie and oenology, and share the experiences, challenges and discoveries that have marked their apprenticeship and that they encounter in their current careers.

In the first episode, we meet Ioana Romanescu, a Romanian-born pastry chef, teacher, and entrepreneur. She worked 18 years in international Finance and Customer Operations management before fulfilling her passion by launching her own Pastry Shop & Baking company in 2014: Cupcake Philosophy. A few years later, she enrolled in the Pâtisserie Diploma at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, which she decided to complete with the Diploma in Pâtisserie Innovation and Wellness. She wanted to learn about the latest trends and techniques in pastry and how to produce healthier and lighter pastries.

Ioana can assure you: as soon as she talks about pastry, her face lights up. This cake lover is keen to develop this passion in her country. In this episode, she talks about her background, her experience and how she intends to promote and transmit the know-how she learned at Le Cordon Bleu Paris institute.

Every month from March, we invite you to meet around the stove, to listen to the testimonies of these former students from all horizons who share the same passion: gastronomy.

"A Tasteful Story", to be discovered from 14 March on all podcast platforms.
