1. Can you describe the programme available at the London School?
It is called Diploma in Wine, Gastronomy and Management. It has been designed to provide industry relevant education in wine, gastronomy and management for aspiring wine professionals and wine entrepreneurs.

We aim to provide students with an indepth knowledge of wine, its integration with gastronomy and their management within a commercial environment.

Le Cordon Bleu has many renowned wine programmes in the world but this is the first time we launch in London.

The course combines advanced wine knowledge (Wine sensory analysis, wine production and wine producing countries and regions), gastronomy (food and wine pairing, hospitality and events, other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages), management (wine and beverage management, distribution & commercialisation, and market research)

2. I already have already a wine certification (such as WSET), why would I need to study this specific diploma?
We aim to fully prepare our students for the professional world. By enrolling in this programme you will be in contact with many wine professionals who will come to the school as guest speakers, you will taste over 500 wines and you will be taught how to run a wine-focused business.

Thanks to our network, you will also have the possibility to attend various professional tastings around London and visit to wineries, breweries and distilleries.

People with high school diploma or equivalent with minimum or basic wine experience.

 

4. What is the cost and how long does the programme last?

£12,500

480 guided learning hours over 6 months

The course will be a mix of practical classes, tastings and lectures. You will be taught by some of the best professionals available in London.
