The 9-hour introduction to fortified wines of the world is designed for both food & beverage enthusiasts and culinary professionals looking to improve their beverage knowledge and acquire the keys to appreciate fortified wines.
The course is structured in three consecutive evenings, each one focusing on several categories of fortified wines (Port, Sherries, Vins Doux Naturels…). For each category, origin, history, climate, grape varieties and winemaking techniques will be discussed in some details. The tasting sessions will enable participants to sharpen their senses of smell & taste and develop a discourse on a wide variety of fortified Wine.
