Master chefs inspire young foodies at Tasting Australia

Master's students connect at Adelaide events

Le Cordon Bleu was delighted to support 2018 Tasting Australia’s Taste Buds event attracting a new legion of young foodies with a series of fun food events hosted by Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs Tom Milligan and Stan Szczypiorski designed to inspire healthier eating and a love of cooking in young children.

Healthy Cupcake Decorating

Chef Stan Szczypiorski hosted Healthy Cupcake Decorating, a series of ½ hour workshops over three fun-filled days designed to teach kids about what kinds of foods they can grow at home, where flour comes from, and food nutrition. Children aged 7 – 12 years had a ball decorating cupcakes with healthy toppings such as almonds, mint leaves, blueberries, strawberries and kiwi fruit picked from onsite garden beds.

Awesomely Healthy Pasta Sauce

Awesomely Healthy Pasta Sauce with Master Chef Tom Milligan had kids creating their own mini pasta plates, foraging in the onsite garden for fresh vegetables and herbs, and chatting to Tom about cooking with fresh ingredients. The workshop was a fun opportunity for children to experiment with delicious and healthy ingredients in their own specially created dish.
