Making the transition from student to full-time worker can be quite a life change for graduates. After a few years of study, entering the workplace can be intimidating - unless, of course, you studied at Le Cordon Bleu.  Le Cordon Bleu graduates are highly-skilled and work-ready, so the transition from student to industry professional is seamless.

Expert Educators

The programmes at Le Cordon Bleu are taught by some of the most experienced hospitality educators in the country. With years of industry experience, they bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge into the classroom.

You'll be learning from experts in their field chosen to ensure you receive an engaging education of the highest quality. Your lecturers will share their invaluable industry insights through practical demonstrations, chef workshops and theory classes, so before you step out into the workforce you are academically and vocationally ready.

Work Integrated Learning (WIL)

In a Le Cordon Bleu programme, students undertake a minimum of six months' Work Integrated Learning (WIL). The Industry Engagement Team will work with, and support a student in the identification and selection of an WIL placement that will best meet the students work based learning. The Industry Engagement team will provide support and individual career management advice to students to help identify a WIL placement opportunity from Le Cordon Bleu’s extensive range of industry partners for real work experience in a leading hospitality business Alternatively a student may wish to source their own WIL placement which the Industry Engagement Team approves to ensure the student gains the most from their WIL experience.

WIL Is an opportunity to apply academic knowledge and develop skills in a practical setting. WIL acts as a bridge between your on-campus studies and your dream career.

Networking Opportunities

Le Cordon Bleu’s network of industry partners includes the finest establishments - such as luxury five-star hotels, leading restaurants and resorts in Australia. During WIL you can meet and network with industry professionals in organisations who are seeking graduates for their future workforce. So before you even graduate, you may already be equipped with powerful network connections.

When you graduate you gain lifelong membership to Le Cordon Bleu’s global alumni network. Le Cordon Bleu International has over 20,000 graduates annually with students from over 20 countries in 35 institutes - as an alumni you are given lifelong membership to an international industry network.
