Karen Doyle appointed National President of Australian Culinary Federation


Le Cordon Bleu Australia is delighted to announce that Karen Doyle (Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Program Manager) has been appointed National President of Australian Culinary Federation (ACF). As the first woman to hold the position, Karen was unanimously voted for the position in elections held at its annual general meeting.

An awarded chef, international/national culinary judge & qualified adult educator, Karen Doyle is the Program Manager for Le Cordon Bleu Sydney. With more than 20 years industry experience in hospitality, patisserie and commercial cookery under her belt, Karen is also a familiar face at culinary competitions across Australia and internationally.

“I’m honoured to be appointed the new National President for the Australian Culinary Federation,” Karen Doyle said. “The role is a challenging one and there is an interesting road ahead. I’m looking forward to leading the association in achieving the goals we have set for ourselves. We will continue to build and maintain strong alliances with industry, sponsors and partners in support of each other.

“The ACF is currently in a strong position, thanks to the current generation of members, and the strong partnerships and industry alliances we have worked hard to build. There are sure to be interesting and exciting times ahead!”
