L’École de la Boulangerie wins first prize at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards

Meilleur "Livre Culinaire Professionnel"

The new Le Cordon Bleu book L’École de la Boulangerie (published by Larousse), which came out in October 2021, won first prize in the “Professional Food Books” category at the international Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. The results were announced on 4 June 2022, during a prestigious ceremony which took place in Umea, Sweden.

The Gourmand Awards have recognised the best cuisine and wine books from all over the globe every year since 1995. In 2021, entries from 225 countries and regions were received for this prestigious award, the only international competition in the field.

L'École de la Boulangerie features 80 recipes for traditional, regional and world breads, freshly baked pastries and boulangerie chef pastries. It provides readers with all the techniques for kneading, shaping, and baking bread, thanks to recipes illustrated with 280 step-by-step photos.

The book will soon be translated into English, Italian, Spanish (Spain and South America) and Hungarian this autumn.
