Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand Alumna Mariah Grace found her passion for pâtisserie at a young age and pursued this by studying a Diploma in Pâtisserie and Culinary Science then working for the Absinthe Restaurant Francaise located on the famous Boat Quay in Singapore. Mariah's next move bought her to New Zealand in 2014 for further studies at Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand, completing the Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business Degree to acquire the skills that were needed to pursue her dream of owning her own business.

After graduating at Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand, Mariah continued working locally in Wellington hospitality establishments - QT Wellington and Sofitel Wellington. Mariah then travelled to Kiev, Ukraine to further develop her modern Patisserie and Viennoiserie with Tetyana Verbytska at KICA (Kiev International Culinary Academy). With Wellington having a prominent café culture and being the foodie-capital of New Zealand, Mariah recognised an opportunity to grow the patisserie scene, which led to her decision to stay in Wellington and open Grace Patisserie.

Grace Pâtisserie specialises in customised cakes in styles of semi-naked, watercolour or abstract buttercream designs, with hand-piped buttercream flowers, fresh floral, macaron or chocolate arrangements.
