What was your experience like at Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand and what did you take away with you?

"Studying the Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business gave me an overview on how to successfully run a business, and gave me an understanding of how important customers are. My favourite thing about studying at Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand was being surrounded by so many different nationalities, sharing food and cooking stories with my classmates."

Tell us about your culinary journey so far?

"I worked Front of House for many years in my home town Argentina, Mexico and New Zealand. The experience I gained from working in so many different places gave me valuable insights into the different styles of service which helped me grow both personally and professionally, combined with the business skills I gained from studying the Bachelor of Culinary Arts it really prepared me to open my own business."

"I opened an online bakery Medialunas Aurora with my husband, Facundo Arregui, last year. We named it “Medialunas Aurora”, Medialunas is an Argentinian take on traditional French croissant and Aurora is the name of a popular national song in Argentina."
