We catch up with winner of the 2022 Wine Scholarship by Le Cordon Bleu, Josephine Williams, as she discusses her initial experience on the early stages of the course.
The 2022 Wine Scholarship awarded one competition winner with a complementary place on the Diploma in Wine, Gastronomy and Management at Le Cordon Bleu London followed by a bespoke internship split between renowned merhcants Hedonism and the Michelin-starred HIDE restaurant. Alongside this life-changing experience, additional prizes included a place on the Gusbourne Academy programme, Gusbourne Wines membership, cases of wines from Louis Latour, Banfi, Pyramis Valley, Smith and Sheth and Viu Mament, as well as a one-on-one mentoring session with legendary wine maker Steve Smith MW.
Since winning this incredible prize, Josephine began the Diploma in Wine, Gastronomy and Management in October 2022. Here we catch up with her and ask about the experience in term 1, which included the mentoring session with Steve Smith MW.
