peruvian 1Our 10 years anniversary celebration kicked off with a guest chef demonstration event co organised with the Embassy of Peru in Malaysia. Chef Guillermo Gonzales who also holds the position as President of the Global Center of Gastrodiplomacy and of Embajador Publicaciones - Ambassador Publications.

The cooking demonstration was attended by 20 students from Sunway Le Cordon Bleu as well as Industry Chefs and members of the media.

The 3 recipes demonstrated are national dishes such as the classic ceviche peruano and drinks of Peru, Pisco Sour and Chicha Morada which originates more than 1000 years ago.

The purple corn was specially brought in for Chicha Morada, which is a very refreshing mocktail suitable for the tropics. All participants tasted the items at the end of the demonstration. Present at the event were HE Mr Ricardo Morote Ambassador of Peru and the First Secretary Mr Carlos Castillo.
