Le Cordon Bleu students shine in industry
Le Cordon Bleu Sydney patisserie students shone at a recent industry event, raising $2,000 for bushfire relief with the sale of their chocolate showpiece, Burning Heart.
Under the expert guidance of Angelo Roche (Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Teacher, Advanced Diploma Patisserie) students Sheldon Dominic Fernandez, Kavita Bhagchandani, Rajeshwari Kanodia, and Nikhil Bhaskaran showcased their Le Cordon Bleu patisserie skills with a showpiece called Burning Heart.
They sold the chocolate sculpture privately at NAFDA’s Foodservice launch of Best of the Best Rewards Program 2020 in Sydney, an event promoting major industry suppliers and distributors. Following the promotional launch, guests enjoyed an entertainment-rich evening with food and drink curated by NAFDA’s corporate chef Adam Moore.
The audience of 300 guests were delighted with the chocolate sculpture which raised $2,000 for bushfire relief.
