Le Cordon Bleu London recently hosted a guest demonstration with Chef Javier Duarte, Executive Chef at Alexander & Bjorck, a premier luxury events company.

Chef Javier also runs his consultancy, JDC Hospitality, supporting restaurants across Europe and the Middle East with menu development and staff training and has over 20 years of experience in the culinary world, specialising in Spanish, French, and Mediterranean cuisine.

Throughout his career, he has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, Relais & Châteaux properties, and luxury dining establishments across Europe. He is passionate about blending tradition with innovation and pushing boundaries to create memorable dining experiences.

Chef Javier demonstrated the art of creating fine dining canapés designed specifically for private and high-end events, focussing on how to elevate small bites into exquisite works of art that not only delight the palate but also captivate visually.
