SYDNEY
  1. Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour will open in early 2020 with 152 rooms.
  2. Capella Sydney is a 274 room hotel scheduled to open in 2021.
  3. The W Hotel will open in Sydney in early 2021, featuring 593 rooms.
  4. Travelodge Hotel Hurstville Sydney Travelodge Hurstville is a 124-room Travelodge property in a five-level commercial tower expected to open in 2022.
  5. Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney – The new hotel will have 194 keys, comprising eight two-bedroom apartments, 104 one-bedroom and 82 studio apartments.
  6. The Ritz-Carlton The new 61-storey 220-room hotel will be located at The Star Sydney complex, which will also house about 200 residences. Opening early 2020.
  7. The Porter House Hotel, MGallery by Sofitel - a new-build luxury boutique MGallery by Sofitel hotel in Sydney CBD with a 36-storey tower and a 121-room hotel and 131 residential apartments, to open late 2020.
MELBOURNE
  1. The 263 room Ritz Carlton Melbourne is due to open in July 2021.
  2. Marriott International will launch Le Meridien Hotel in April 2022 in Melbourne featuring 230 rooms.
  3. The W Hotel due to open in Melbourne in June 2020 will feature 294 rooms.
  4. Vibe Hotel Melbourne a classic two storey Heritage-listed building renovated into a stunning new 24-storey glass fronted hotel and residential tower.
  5. Adina Apartment Hotel Southbank Melbourne - The striking design of this hotel, with its sleek curved glass curtain facade will form a landmark for Melbourne’s Southbank precinct.

  6. Brisbane International Cruise Terminal From mid-2020, a 158 million upgrade to the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal will be Queensland’s first dedicated mega-cruise ship terminal.
PERTH
  1. DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge, Perth opened in 2018.
  2. The Ritz-Carlton Perth at Elizabeth Quay opening November 2019 will feature 205 rooms.
  3. The Art Series Hotel, The Adnate, will open in Perth in October 2019 offering 250 rooms.
  4. QT Perth, which opened in August 2018 is a 184 room, 18-storey hotel.
  5. The Westin Perth features 368 rooms, two restaurants and nine event spaces.
ADELAIDE
  1. Crowne Plaza, opening in April 2020, is a 329 room hotel with 600 sqm of event space.
  2. Adelaide Oval is opening a 138-room hotel in September 2020.
  3. The 32-storey, 257 room Sofitel Adelaide will open in November 2020.
  4. Marriott International will open Westin Adelaide, a 15-storey, 285 room luxury hotel in March 2022.
  5. Vibe Hotel Adelaide - A brand-new Vibe Hotel in Adelaide will be an 18-storey glass fronted tower with 119 rooms.
  6. Sequoia at Mount Lofty House, Adelaide.
  7. Festival Plaza, Adelaide The Casino is undergoing an AUD 330 million redevelopment which will see a new six-star, 123 room hotel.
  8. Hotel Indigo Adelaide will be a sixteen-storey boutique hotel on Market Street opening in 2020.
CAIRNS
  1. The Riley by Crystalbrook Collection opened in November 2018 and offers 311 rooms.
  2. Crystalbrook Collection will open the Bailey (220 rooms) in October 2019.
  3. The Flynn by Crystalbrook Collection will open 311 rooms in 2020.
GOLD COAST
  1. The Jewel is a 1 billion complex featuring a five-star hotel, bars, dining and conference facilities opening in 2020.
  2. The Star Gold Coast will open a 316 room hotel, the Dorsett, in late 2022.
THE WHITSUNDAYS
  1. Daydream Island Resort reopened in 2019 offering 277 rooms and catering for 300 guests for events.
  2. InterContinental Hayman Island Resort offers 166 rooms; an Entertainment Centre for 300 guests; and outdoor spaces for 330 guests.
  3. Hamilton Island Conference Centre unveiled its upgraded facilities in 2018 hosting up to 700 guests.
HOBART
  1. Crowne Plaza will open in March 2020, a 235 room hotel featuring a ballroom, a restaurant, bar and fitness centre.
  2. Opening in September 2020, The Tasman, Marriott International Luxury Collection will feature 128 rooms.
