Why do we celebrate world chocolate Day? Chocolate is one of the most favourites and the most eaten confectionery in the world. With a long history in its origins, the chocolate we eat today are much sweeter compared to what we had centuries ago. How would you like to celebrate World Chocolate Day? You can celebrate by sharing about its origins, spread the word on how it can be eaten, buy your loved ones some sweet chocolate treats or make some delicious chocolatey goodies yourself.

In appreciation of this fabulous product, our pastry chef instructor and chocolatier, Chef Sarju Ranavaya made a wonderful chocolate showpiece for us to feast our eyes upon. He also showed us how versatile it is and how it can be so beautifully crafted.

And Chef Sarju Ranavaya won special prizes for "Best Sugar Display and Eco Responsible". He also scored 2nd highest on all artistic work and overall buffet. In 2019, he has taken up the position of a Pastry Chef Instructor at Sunway Le Cordon Bleu, Malaysia. Chef Sarju Ranavaya is knowledgeable and known to be very precise in his instructions.
