Le Cordon Bleu offers an innovative and comprehensive job readiness program equipping students with lifelong career management tools required to compete and succeed within today's job market.
At Le Cordon Bleu, we have developed relationships with international properties regarding involvement in our Industry Placement program. In order to service the needs of the industry, Le Cordon Bleu presents students with opportunities for work placements for a period of 6 months.
The exciting and challenging opportunities are facilitated by the Professional Development Department for regions across the country - from far north Queensland where the majestic Great Barrier Reef draws tourists from across the globe, to the regional Australian destinations such as Uluru, Alice Springs and Broome to cosmopolitan city centres such as the Arts capital of Australia, Melbourne or our largest and most vibrant city, Sydney while some even head to the wild, wild west to Perth, Western Australia.
Upon successful completion of the academic studies required in the Le Cordon Bleu Superior Cuisine or Superior Pâtisserie students are required to complete 600 hours of structured industry experience.
During the placements, students are employed to work in the following areas:
- Commis Chefs
- Cooks Grade 1-3
- Pastry Cooks
