The school had organised the launch of a book by visiting alumnus from Paris Chef Marcia Ochsner which features South of France Cooking. 6 recipes from the book were reproduced by Chef Marcia and Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia production team at a cocktail event attended by 40 guests.

10 books were given to the school for sale to guests who were present and all proceeds were donated by Chef Marcia to the Culinary hearts fund to support a selected worthy person who is not financially able to do so to pursue a programme at the Malaysia school. Recipes feature at the cocktail were

  1. Gazpacho
  2. Egg Mimosa
  3. Croque Monsieur with smoked turkey and black truffle
  4. Flammenkuchen (Alsace pizza)
  5. Bacalhau Croquette (Salted and dried cod croquette)
  6. Carrot Cake
