Malaysia International
Gastronomy Festival 2018 (MIGF)

In this year’s edition of Taste MIGF, we Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs will feature unique Malaysian ingredients which they find fascinating and would like to give it prominence with creative dishes to share with all visitors at the Epicure International Gourmet Village and Epicure Lifestyle Workshops.

Being the World leading Culinary School, Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia will also be developing a Malaysian Cuisine Programme which we hope to deliver the programme next year by taking in the inaugural batch of students by October 2019. In view thereof we would be conducting a survey to find out from all visitors at the event how much Malaysian cuisine is known worldwide and what they had tasted and which is their favourite.

Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia had invited a few illustrious Alumni who had established restaurants to participate in the Theatre of Cuisines. Chef Darren Chin and Chef Dato’ Fazley Yaakob who won several awards at the 2016 MIGF will make a comeback. Dato’ Fazley Yaakob will bring in 2 restaurants this time, his SukaSucre and Mamanda in TPC. Chef Johnson who graduated from our Sydney School will be participating for the first time with his newly established Gen restaurant in Penang.

We will also see wonderful creations from these chefs to savour over the 2 days. The good news is all these restaurants will offer innovative menus in the whole month of September for a great gastronomical experience.
