Le Cordon Bleu launches new Ready to Work program

Ready to Work program launches in AustraliaLe Cordon Bleu Australia is excited to introduce a new online course that will help students kickstart their career in the Australian hospitality world.

The 10-week Ready to Work program will cover everything from interview skills to resume writing, enabling students to hit the ground running as soon as they land on Australian shores.

Over four, jam-packed modules, students will also train towards their RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) which is an Australian requirement should they wish to work in bars or hotels.

Head of Industry Engagement and Alumni, Dr Cristina Rodrigues, says the Ready to Work program is just one of many ways Le Cordon Bleu Australia supports students in understanding Australian workplace culture.

“During the program, students are fully supported with online meetings with an Industry Engagement representative to address concerns or questions they have about unit content,” she says.

“By offering a comprehensive work-ready program, Le Cordon Bleu Australia paves the way for our students to pursue their employability skills before transitioning into their careers in Australia.”

Taught by industry experts, the non-accredited program features a blend of instructor-led and self-study units, meaning students can work through the course at their own pace and complete the program before commencing their Higher Education studies.

What’s more, students will be able to complete an instructor-led online module exclusive to Le Cordon Bleu Australia – Principles of Gastronomy – ensuring they are well equipped and ready to hit the ground running in this exciting industry. As an added bonus, if students enrol before 8 April 2024, they will receive a second online module at no additional cost – Entrepreneurship in Food Business – which can be explored in self-study mode.
