This year, Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand hosted our first-ever STAR taster courses in our campus. The Secondary Tertiary Alignment Resource programme (STAR) is a New Zealand Ministry of Education operational grant that helps secondary schools provide vocational courses, taster days, and career transition support for students.

We have hosted two tasting days so far, for our popular vocational diplomas Diplôme de Cuisine and Diplôme de Pâtisserie. Students experienced a short demonstration by their chef lecturer and then proceeded to our practical kitchens to get hands-on practice, just like how our students experience the full course.
With the popularity of the taster courses far exceeding our hopes and expectations, we can’t wait to announce the future sessions planned for throughout 2027. Thank you to all students who participated and shared their culinary passion with us.
