On the 30th of September we held our second ever Auckland Alumni Gathering. We invited our past students to join us for an evening of reconnection with views of the Auckland skyline, thanks to the incredible Churchill Sky lounge at Four Points by Sheraton. We were joined by our bachelor degree lecturer and wine expert Angelo Minelli, a key point of contact for our many industry partners.
Our alumni enjoyed the Auckland spring sun as they met with peers and formed new bonds, some of our attendees graduated within the first years of our opening, with the most recent having graduated last December. It was joy to hear shared stories of their experiences while studying, despite the passing of time many things remained the same – most notably the fondness for our chef instructors.
Alongside our alumni we were joined by the HR manager of Four Points by Sheraton and the owner of Beabea’s bakery. With double the alumni this year we hope to steadily grow our future gatherings in both Auckland and Wellington. Hospitality is inherently face-to-face, it is the key to our education philosophy, and we are delighted to now provide more opportunities for our alumni to personally connect with their Le Cordon Bleu family.
