Jenni Key - Le Cordon Bleu Adelaide Chef

Culinary and travel bloggers’ forum Words to Go featured again this year as part of Tasting Australia, an eight-day festival celebrating South Australia’s food culture. Le Cordon Bleu Australia was pleased to support the program, which attracted 30 of Australia’s most passionate bloggers to Adelaide with an enticing program of expert speakers intermingled with some great South Australian food experiences.

Key note speaker for the program was renowned author Mark Kurlansky, best known for his books Cod, Salt and The Big Oyster. Dr Roger Haden, Academic Director for Le Cordon Bleu, spoke about The Language of Aesthetics and Le Cordon Bleu Master of Arts (Gastronomy) Alumna Jacqui Lim spoke about the success of her blog Jacqui’s Food Fetish, which documents her pursuit to dine at every Gourmet Traveller Top 100 restaurant.

Delegates were treated to a delectable array of sweet treats prepared by Le Cordon Bleu lecturer and culinary Olympian Jenni Key.

The following day participants visited Regency International Centre to participate in a chocolate appreciation class.

Tasting Australia is a celebration of South Australia’s food heroes and follows the journey of produce from paddock to plate.  Visitors can enjoy local and seasonal produce from South Australia’s regional producers and explore the diverse food culture.
