Melbourne alumnus makes MasterChef Indonesia Top 3
Nick Nierxen, who studied a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery at Le Cordon Bleu Melbourne, has made waves in his home country of Indonesia since graduating ...
Le Cordon Bleu Adelaide Bachelor and Master’s students were given the opportunity to volunteer at the grand opening of the new CostCo at Kilburn. An event run by esteemed Adelaide catering company Forte Catering and Events, the students had a chance to see a large scale catering event in action.
Five Master’s students and nineteen Bachelor students worked front and back of house for the event, creating a seamless entertaining experience for more than a thousand guests.
In the kitchen, students assisted in the preparation of four canapé items, whilst their fellow students front of house managed 16 food stations, 3 drinks stations, a coffee station as well as one chocolate fountain. Guests were also treated to one enormous CostCo cake to celebrate the opening.
It was a great effort by all students involved, and a big thank you to all those who took part. We hope you benefitted as much from the experience as the guests who attended.
